Welcome to the friendly and nurturing environment of Forestville Union School District. Forestville Elementary and Forestville Academy are schools with an outstanding reputation for their academic programs, extracurricular sports program, and fine arts, drama, and music programs at all grade levels. All Forestville Kindergarteners are offered full day sessions: 8:30 a.m. to 2:55 p.m.

Penny Drive for the
“Pulmonary Hypertension Association”

Forestville School and Academy are having a Penny Drive for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
 
 We recently had a student pass away from this horrible disease.  The students will be raising funds in memory of their classmate. 
 
Please help by sending pennies to school with your children.  There will be “Penny” receptacles, decorated by the students,
in both offices at school.

Forestville Elementary & Forestville Academy's School Accountability Report Cards (SARC)

are available for the 06/07 school year. 

What is a School Accountability Report Card (SARC)?

Since November 1988, state law has required all public schools receiving state funding to prepare and distribute a SARC. A similar requirement is also contained in the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). The purpose of the report card is to provide parents and the community with important information about each public school. A SARC can be an effective way for a school to report on its progress in achieving goals. The public may also use a SARC to evaluate and compare schools on a variety of indicators.
